• Top hi-hat cymbal has laser stamp with "JD" at the beginning of the series of numbers indicating it to be a 2004
• Bottom hi-hat cymbal lettering and placement ( solid BOTTOM NEW BEAT HI HAT is on the top of the cymbal) indicates it to be a 3rd generation dated between Mid 1982 - 1991
