• We had an Akai EWI 5000 which are notorious for their Error Code 88 failed battery errors. We contacted Akai to get a replacement battery. It took like 6 months for it to arrive. In the meantime, we sold the actual Akai EWI 5000 as is at a slight discount.
• If you have an Akai EWI 5000, you should probably buy this back up battery.
