• Cosmetic blemishes on the chrome that comes with the age and use, shells are in good shape! Same owner for the last 40 years

• Pearl produced these kits in the mid 70s after experimenting with pure fiber glass shells. These are (some state 9 ply some state 6ply) (I've read mahogany) shell with a layer of fiberglass attached to the inside. This quality makes these drums quite heavy in weight and sound alike.
• RECENT UPGRADE Pearl Gyro Lock installed creating a great reliable mounting system, previously there was too much give with the toms
