National New Yorker 7-String Lap Steel Guitar Early 1940s

Notes

• All electronics are functional
• Nut will need to be replaced
• One strip of tuning machines is branded with National logo, and the other is not. One may be a replacement.
• I believe this is missing a part that rests above the pickup at the bridge, based on others of the same model from the same time.
• Please ask any and all questions prior to purchase. We admittedly have little experience with vintage lap steel guitars but will do our best to answer anything thrown our way.
• Small separation between fingerboard overlay and body/neck. This does not seem to effect play. I would imagine this is very common, as this fingerboard is made of a thin, plastic like material that is screwed down. This separation occurs between screws.
• Some finish wear in spots, as shown in our photos
• No case or other accessories included.
• Serial number appears to date between 1940 and 1942
